| NP-400 DF SOLVENT is a blend of various organic compounds, formulated to remove mold flash or resin bleed from the component lead surface. NP 400 DF is ideal for use at an elevated temperature as an organic solvent for the chemical deflashing process. The chemical deflashing process involves the immersion of the electronic components / workpiece in a chemical bath filled with NP 400 DF Solvent with maximum temperature limited within 85 °C. In view of excellent solvency properties of NP 400 DF, the bath and component lead container are recommended to be fabricated from stainless steel. To achieve optimum result, the pH of the deflashing solvent should be maintained at 9 or more (in 5% aqueous solution using NP 400 pH - pH Adjuster Solution.)
